Classes - Hoyt Sherman Place

Created in 2022 after his death, the Barry Bauman Art Institute honors the generosity of the Chicago-based art conservator, who donated over a million dollars in free restoration services to Hoyt Sherman Place over 10 years. His work includes The Repentant Magdalene and Apollo and Venus, two of the showpieces in the Hoyt Sherman Place Art Gallery. Implementing programming for students and adults to foster and grow their interests in the arts will ensure Bauman’s legacy continues.

REGISTER FOR CLASSES

Members: Hoyt Sherman Place Members get one FREE class per membership (1 one-day class or 1 day of a multi-day class; some restrictions may apply). To redeem this offer and to register for a class, use our contact form.

Refund Policy: All refund requests must be received 7 days prior to the start of class. Registration fees will be refunded less a 15% cancellation fee. To request a refund, use our contact form.

Hoyt Sherman Place reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment with no incurring obligations. If a class gets canceled by Hoyt Sherman Place, you will receive a full refund with no cancellation fee.
