Hoyt Sherman Place Welcomes New Development Director, Anna Cramer

Hoyt Sherman Place is pleased to welcome Anna Cramer as its newest addition to the staff. Anna began her role as Development Director on June 5, 2023.

Anna Cramer is a nonprofit professional with experience in fundraising, program management, and department operations. Most recently, Anna spent the past seven years as a Development Manager at Des Moines Performing Arts overseeing all fundraising campaigns, institutional giving, and department operations. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Central Iowa Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Prior to DMPA, Anna worked for the DeVos Institute of Arts Management at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., where she served arts and culture organizations across the country in capacity building efforts. She has also worked for the Overture Center in Madison, WI, Wisconsin Public Radio, and the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul, MN. Anna holds an MBA from the Bolz Center for Arts Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in Theater and Business from Elmhurst College in Illinois. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers, and taking her dog Lucy to the park.
