Hoyt Sherman Place welcomes new Event Coordinator, Evan Fischer

Hoyt Sherman Place is pleased to welcome Evan Fischer as its newest addition to the staff. Evan started in the position of Event Coordinator on September 12, 2016 and he will assist Director of Booking and Event Services, Allison Fegley, with event coordination and management of the volunteer staff and assist Director of Sales and Marketing, Dana Hanson, with box office responsibilities and marketing. 

Evan Fischer recently graduated from Central College with a degree in Business Management with a Marketing emphasis and a minor in Sociology. While at Central, he was involved in numerous campus activities and clubs including the A Cappella Choir, Chamber Singers, Dutch Brigade and the Campus Activities Board. While on CAB, he began to develop a love for event planning and coordinating that led him to seek a career in the event industry. "I am thrilled to be a member of the Hoyt Sherman Place staff," Evan says. "To have the opportunity to work with an institution that is such a jewel of Des Moines and coordinating events at the same time is a dream come true for me!"
