The Christian Ertl Quartet is composed of musicians from all across North America. Christian Ertl is the alto saxophonist, bandleader, composer, and arranger and is originally from Waukee, Iowa, and now lives and performs in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Scott Edmunds is the pianist who is from Northeast Pennsylvania and now is based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Sebastian Arias is the bassist who grew up in Costa Rica and is now based out of Kansas City, Missouri. Joshua Watkins is the drummer who is from Detroit, Michigan.
