Hoyt Sherman Place welcomes new Event Coordinators, Nate Logsdon and Toni Roberts

Hoyt Sherman Place is pleased to welcome Nate Logsdon and Toni Roberts as its new Event Coordinators. Both employees started in this position on April 4, 2016. They will assist Director of Booking and Event Services, Allison Fegley, with event coordination and management of the volunteer staff and assist Director of Sales and Marketing, Dana Hanson, with box office responsibilities and marketing.

Nate Logsdon has worked in the live music and event production industry for ten years as a promoter, booking agent, venue manager and musician. He has booked concerts at dozens of venues in Ames including Bandshell Park, Ames City Auditorium, The Octagon Center for the Arts, Ames Public Library and more. As the former manager of The Space for Ames and DG's Tap House -- as well as the current Co-Director of Maximum Ames Music Festival -- Nate has booked and run over 1000 concerts so far in his career. Says Logsdon, "I am thrilled to start a new phase of my career as an Event Coordinator at this historic landmark in Downtown Des Moines and continue serving Iowa's outstanding musical community."

Toni Roberts graduated from Waldorf College with a degree in Communications and Public Relations. She most recently served as the Youth Development Coordinator for the Ankeny Family YMCA, where she oversaw the Child Watch staff as well as planned and implemented the youth programming for its members. She resides in Ankeny with her husband, Chris, and dog, Otto. Says Roberts, "I am ecstatic to be a member of the Hoyt Sherman Place team and get back to my passion of event coordinating."
